St Eunan’s edge past Gweedore in Donegal SFC semi-final

St Eunan’s Letterkenny booked their place in the Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure senior football final for 2024 on Saturday night with a narrow 0-8 to 0-7 semi-final victory over Gweedore in Ballybofey.

In a low-scoring and cagey semi-final, the margins were always going to be narrow – and so it proved in this game with Eoin Dowling proving to be the matchwinner for the Letterkenny side as his two late points secured the victory.

Eunan’s now await the winners of Sunday’s second semi-final at MacCumhaill Park, when Dungloe take on St Michael’s at 3:30pm.

The county final is scheduled for Sunday, October 13th.

In Saturday’s senior relegation final, St Naul’s preserved their top-tier status for 2025 with an eight-point victory over Cloughaneely in Glenswilly.

Meanwhile, Markievicz regained the Donegal senior camogie title with a 2-13 to 0-2 win over Burt in Saturday night’s final in Convoy.
