Six Sligo kickboxers are competing this week at the 2024 European Senior Kickboxing Championships in Athens, Greece.
Four members of Collooney Kickboxing Club, and two from Sligo Mugendo, are part of large Irish contingent in Athens.
The Collooney quarter are the Nooney brothers Nathan, Brandon and Leland alongside Jenna Gallagher.
Sligo Mugendo is represented by Oisín Lee and Billy Dolan-Geary.
Dolan Geary is already assured of a bronze medal at these championship having beaten his Turkish opponent on Wednesday.
He now takes on the World Champion from Finland in their silver medal bout.
Lee was unlucky to lose out to a Spanish opponent in his bout on Wednesday.
Collooney’s Leyland Nooney also scored a win in his opening bout earlier this week.
