Thousands of people from all over the world will visit Ballyshannon, Co DOnegal, this coming bank holiday weekend for the annual Rory Gallagher Festival in the town.
It will take place over four days, stating this Thursday.
Gallagher, a world-famous rock and blues singer and multi-instrumentalist, was born in Ballyshannon. He died in 1995.
