Increased ANC payments being paid out this year

Increased Areas of Natural Constraints payments are being paid out to farmers this year.

The payments are worth over €185m and it's being paid out to more than 75,000 farmers.

Gerry Loftus of the Irish Natura and Hillfarmers Association says the payments are welcome.

He says now as an organisation the INHFA will concentrate on the ANC review:
