Young farmers who don't complete studies before May 15th cannot apply for 2017 National Reserve

Requirements for the 2017 National Reserve have changed this year.

Under current regulations, young farmers who have not yet received their certfication will not be able to apply for the 2017 National Reserve. In 2015, so long as a person had begun their studies, they could then apply for the National Reserve.

Students who complete their studies after the 15ht of May, will not be abelt o apply.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Sinn Fein Councillor, Brendan Barry, says that the rules should revert to the 2015 rules.
