Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting full-time and part-time Retail Assistants.
Overview
Donegal Town Hardware is a leading supplier of building materials, hardware, gardening, DIY, paint and household goods in South West Donegal. The business is progressive and is part of United Hardware, the largest buying group in Ireland.
WHAT’S IT LIKE TO BE A RETAIL ASSISTANT?
- Role will involve serving customers at the counter or by phone, preparing quotations, liaising with suppliers, resolving queries, delivering first class service and driving sales through best practices.
- Host – you’ll welcome customers into our store, understand what they need, guide them to the right products, and make it super easy for them.
- Part of the team – you’ll join a team who take pride in our store, work together and have lots of fun along the way.
Required skills & experience
YOU ARE…
- Excellent at giving great service, with a positive can-do, no-nonsense approach
- Prepared to work hard and make the most of our training
- A great communicator who loves to help people
- Willing to learn, you don’t need retail experience to succeed
- Friendly, flexible, reliable, honest and enthusiastic
- Available to work on a Saturday
