The 10th annual Yeats Day is taking place today marking the 156th birthday of WB Yeats.
The Yeats Society Sligo are asking people to take part in their #YeatsDayChallenge by reading one of his poems and posting it on social media with the tag.
People can recite a line, an extract or full poem with the day being marked online this year for a second time due to Covid-19.
Susan O'Keefe is the Director of the Yeats Society Sligo and says people can read a poem that is sentimental to them for any reason.
