There were 116 patients with Covid-19 in the north west's two main hospitals yesterday.
74 of them were in Letterkenny University Hospital and 42 in Sligo University Hospital.
There were six in critical care in Letterkenny and five in critical care in Sligo.
Countrywide, 1,247 more infections were detected, while 15 more people have died.

HSE boss Paul Reid says the pressure on the critical care system is "relentless" -- with 211 patients with the virus in ICU last night.
