14 day rate steadily decreasing across the region

All but one local electoral area has seen a decrease in the 14 day incidence rate of Covid-19 per 100,000 population.

The majority are also below the national rate of 389.

South Donegal has gone from 378 351.

Manorhamilton has decreased from 638 to 573.

The rate is 256 in Sligo/Strandhill down from 260, and the 14 day rate in Sligo/Drumcliffe has gone from 373 to 255.

Ballymote/Tubbercurry is the only local electoral area in the region to see a slight increase going from 284 to 318 infections per 100,000 population.

The rate for Co. Donegal as a whole is 700, 415 in Leitrim and 299 in Sligo.

While the 14 day incidence rate continues to fall in South Donegal, Milford has the highest rate nationally at 1,038.

Two other regions in Donegal also have rates of over 1,000 - Letterkenny and Lifford-Stranorlar.
