It's believed more than 1,442 people are on outpatient waiting lists in Donegal for more than two years.
While 94 people are waiting longer than 3 years to obtain an outpatient appointment.
That's according to figures obtained by Donegal Fianna Fail TD and Leas Cheann Comhairle Pat the Cope Gallagher.
Deputy Gallagher says the delays are totally unacceptable.
