Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal are among the counties most affected by an increase in fly infestations during the month of April.
The North West has seen a 19% rise in such callouts in April 2024 compared to the same month last year.

Members of the public are being advised to be wary of increased fly activity as the summer progresses as flies are traditionally a warm-weather pest.
