Dog owners asked to be responsible around sheep

Horrific dog attacks on sheep are a regular occurrence at this time of year.

With sheep now about to lamb, dog attacks can have particularly serious consequences, as lambs can suffer serious injuries or in some cases lose their lives.

One of these attacks recently in the Streedagh area of Sligo.
