200 new jobs are on the way to the North West, with health technology company Abbott set to expand its operations in Donegal Town.
It is part of a €440m investment in Ireland by Abbott.
Abbott’s Diabetes Care facility in Donegal currently employs over 640 staff, developing glucose testing products.
The expansion is part of a €440 million investment which also includes a new 30,000-square metre Kilkenny facility.
Abbott currently employs about 6,000 people across ten sites located in Sligo, Donegal, Dublin, Clonmel, Cootehill, Galway, Kilkenny and Longford.
