The government has announced Local Property Tax allocations for the local authorities in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal in 2025.
The 2025 baseline funding for Sligo County council is just under €12million, for Leitrim its nearly €10.5million, and Donegal it’s just over €26.5million.

The baseline is the minimum that each authority will receive, and will be subjected to respective increases.
This funding recognises the essential role played by local authorities in delivering a broad range of services day-to-day.
