A new tree planting campaign is taking place across Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon and Mayo.
A group made up of Parish Pastoral Councils, Tidy Towns Committees, Schools and Pre-school services gathered on Saturday to take delivery of 250 trees which will be planted across the region over the coming weeks.

Due to a lack of space to plant trees in Geevagh, other PPCs were reached out to, spreading out the 250 trees across the counties.
The efforts are all being made in an effort to have a positive environmental impact in the region.
