There are still a number people waiting for a bed in the North West region today.

There were 37 people waiting yesterday compared to todays figure of 28.

In Sligo University Hospital, there are 6 patients waiting on trolleys while the figure remains high In Letterkenny University Hospital, where there are 22 people waiting for a bed,.

University College Limerick and University College Cork remain the busiest in the country with 41 and 40 people waiting respectively..

Nationally, there are 362 people waiting on trolleys in A&Es across the country. A slight decrease of 29 on yesterday’s figure of 391.
