309 Covid-19 related deaths recorded in the north west since March 2020

Between the 1st of March 2020 and the 18th of January 2022, there have been a total of 309 Covid related deaths across the north west.

That's according to the latest information available from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre.

The weekly incidence rate of Covid-19 in Sligo, leitrim and Donegal is above the national rate of 1,888 infections per 100,000 population.

The rate is 2,384 in Leitrim, 1,978 in Sligo and 1,971 in Co. Donegal.
