31 people waiting on beds at Sligo University Hospital

Sligo University Hospital is third most over-crowded hospital in the country today.

That’s according to the latest INMO Trolley watch figures which were published by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

There are currently 31 people waiting on a bed at Sligo University including 14 in the Emergency Department.

The number waiting on beds at Letterkenny University is reported to be 13.

In total there are 486 people across the country waiting on Hospital beds.  The two most overcrowded facilities are University Hospital Limerick followed by Cork University Hospital.
