There are 33 patients on hospital trolleys in the north west today as they wait for beds.
Sixteen of them are in Letterkenny University Hospital and 17 in Sligo University Hospital.
University Hospital Galway has the most patients -- 45 -- on trolleys.
Overall throughout the country, there are 472 people on trolleys today (Wed).
