Renewed appeal in 14-year old Donegal murder case

Gardai are renewing their appeal for information on the murder of a man in Donegal 14 years ago.

27-year-old Andrew Burns was murdered at Donnyloop in Castlefin on Tuesday, 12th February, 2008.

Gardai say shortly after 7pm, Andrew Burns received a number of gunshot wounds, and was later found on a roadway close to Donnyloop Church and pronounced dead before 8pm.

One person has been convicted of his murder and is currently serving a life sentence.

However, Gardai believe a number of people were involved, and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
