34 people waiting for a bed at Sligo University Hospital

There were 34 people waiting for a bed at Sligo University Hospital this morning.

According to the INMOs trolley watch report there were 21 people waiting on trolleys in its ED while a further 13 were waiting on wards or in overflow areas.

Limerick University Hospital was the most overcrowded again today with 93 people waiting there.

Nationally, there were 428 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.

Meanwhile the INMOs Conference is entering its second day in Sligo.

The Cost of Living and Overcrowding Measures are expected to be debated.
