Latest HSE figures show 36 patients are receiving treatment for Covid-19 in the north west today.
22 patients are in Letterkenny University Hospital and a further 14 in Sligo University Hospital with the virus.
551 patients are in public hospitals with the virus nationally today - the highest figure since February - with 83 in intensive care.
According to the The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation's Trolley Watch figures, 45 patients are waiting for a bed in Letterkenny and 18 in Sligo University Hospital.
