There's a major increase in the number of patients waiting for a hospital bed in the North West today.
In total, there are 38 patients on trolleys -- 23 in Letterkenny University Hospital and 15 in Sligo University Hospital.
In Letterkenny, 15 of the patients are on wards; 12 are on wards in Sligo, according to INMO Trolley Watch figures.
Yesterday, there were 11 people on trolleys, all in Letterkenny University Hospital.
