John Waters is the latest candidate to put his name forward for the upcoming European elections.
Mr Waters will run as an Independent candidate, and will contest a seat in the Midlands North West constituency.
The former Irish Times columnist previously ran in the last General Election in 2020, under the banner of the "Anti-Corruption Ireland" group.
