40 people awaiting admission at North West hospitals

40 people awaiting admission at North West hospitals

There were 40 people awaiting admission to the North West's two main hospitals today.

According to the latest figures from the INMO, there were 20 people waiting at both Sligo University Hospital and Letterkenny University Hospital this morning.

University Hospital Limerick was the most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today, with 81 people on trollies there.

Nationally, today's figures stand at 501.
