40 people waiting for a bed at two main North West hospitals

There were 40 people waiting for a bed at the two main North West hospitals this morning.

32 were waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further 8 were waiting at Letterkenny.

Nationally, there were 475 people waiting at hospitals across the country today with the situation still the worst in Limerick University Hospital with 98 people waiting there.
