40 people waiting on hospital beds in the north west

There are currently 40 people waiting for hospital beds in the north west today.

That’s according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.

16 patients are waiting at Sligo University Hospital and 24 in Letterkenny.

There are 11 patients waiting  in the emergency department in Sligo and 16 elsewhere in the hospital.

The number in the emergency department in Letterkenny is 6 with 18 elsewhere waiting on beds.

The INMO has also confirmed that there are 342 people waiting on hospital beds nationwide
