42 people awaiting admission at North West hospitals

There were 42 people awaiting admission to the two main North West hospitals this morning.

Latest figures from the INMO show that there were 34 people waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further 8 were waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Limerick University Hospital was the most overcrowded with 86 people waiting there.

Nationally, there were 398 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
