43 people waiting on Hospital beds in the North West

Sligo University Hospital is among the top four most over-crowded Hospitals today.

The latest INMO Trolley watch figures are reporting that there are 30 people waiting on a bed at the north west facility this morning.

23 of the patients are believed to be in the emergency department.

Another Saolta Hospital Galway University hospital has a slightly higher figure of 31 people waiting while University Hospital and Cork university Hospital also continue to struggle with overcrowding issues.

In total there are 446 people waiting on hospital beds today among them 13 people that are waiting for a bed at Letterkenny university Hospital where the number waiting in the emergency Department stands at 6.
