There are 43 people today waiting on hospitals beds in the North West today according to the latest INMO trolley watch figures.
The number at Sligo University Hospital currently stands at 30 which is the second highest in the country only behind University Hospital Limerick where there are 42 waiting.
23 of the patients in Sligo are in the emergency department.
Meanwhile there are 13 people waiting on beds at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Three of those are in the emergency department.
Nationally 206 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning.
