Management at Loughan House have planned an event to mark the 50th Anniversary of the opening of Loughan House for use as an open prison.
Getting underway today, the day is being marked with a series of events, including a cookery demonstration with local award winning chef Neven Maguire.

Loughan House also intend to launch their new radio recording studio which is the latest in a series of innovative projects launched in the prison.
Assistant Governor Peter Perry says while events are planned today, there are lots of other things happening at Loughan House everyday:
