A total of 54 people are waiting on trolleys or chairs in Sligo and Letterkenny University Hospitals.
26 patients are waiting in Sligo University Hospital; 18 in the emergency department and 8 elsewhere in the hospital while a further 28 are waiting in Letterkenny with 6 in the emergency department and 22 elsewhere.
A total of 347 are waiting in Irish hospitals today the worst hit being Limerick University Hospital where 51 patients are waiting for a bed.
