55 people waiting for a bed in North West hospitals

There were 55 people waiting for a bed at the two main north west hospitals this morning.

According to the INMO, there were 50 people waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further five were waiting at Letterkenny.

Cork University Hospital was the most overcrowded today with 64 people waiting there.

Nationally, there were 446 people at hospitals across the country today.
