There are 55 people on trolleys waiting for a bed in the two main hospitals in the north west today.
32 of them are in Letterkenny Univeristy Hospital amnd 23 in Sligo University Hospital.
It's an improvement on yesterday, when there were 40 on trolleys in each hospital.
University Hospital Galway, with 47 on trolleys, is among the worst hit today.

Overall throughout the country today, there are 480 people on hospital trolleys.
