59 people waiting on hospital beds locally today

There were 59 people waiting for a bed at the two main north west hospitals this morning according to the latest trolley watch report.

31 people were waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further 28 were waiting at Letterkenny.

Overall, there were 502 people waiting for beds at hospitals across the country today with Limerick continuing to experience the worst of the overcrowding – 67 people waiting there.
