60,000 counterfeit cigarettes were seized by Gardaí in Ballyshannon yesterday.
Ballyshannon Gardaí assisted by members of the Armed Support Unit carried out a number of searches in Ernedale Heights at around 8pm on Friday.
The cigarettes were found during one of these searches with an estimated value of €40,000 along with €3,500 worth of counterfeit clothing.
No arrests have been made at this time and the Gardaí and Revenue are conducting a joint investigation.
