70 patients on trolleys in Northwest hospitals

The number of patients waiting on trolleys in hospitals across the Northwest, has reached a record high today.

There are 70 patients waiting on trolleys according to the INMO.

There 39 patients waiting for a bed in Letterkenny University Hospital, while there are 31 in Sligo.

Overall there are 668 people waiting on a bed across the country.
