The number of people waiting on a hospital bed in the North West today has gone over 70.
Latest figures from the INMO claim that there are 72 people waiting on beds at Sligo and Letterkenny University Hospitals.
This morning’s figures show 42 people waiting at Sligo university Hospital and 30 at Letterkenny University Hospital.
There are 26 and 13 patients waiting in the respective Emergency Departments.
Across the country there are 607 admitted patients are waiting for beds.
University Hospital Limerick, Cork University Hospital and University Hospital Galway are the three most overcrowded Hospital’s in the Country.
