Sligo and Letterkenny University Hospitals are among the top five most overcrowded hospitals in Ireland today.
According to the latest figures from the INMO, there were a total of 73 people waiting across the North West, with 40 in Sligo and 33 in Letterkenny.
University Hospital Limerick had the highest amount, with a record 150 people waiting on trolleys there today.
That was followed by 60 in Cork University Hospital, and 52 in University Hospital Galway.

In total, 710 people were on trolleys in hospitals around the country today.
