76 people awaiting admission at North West hospitals

There were 76 people awaiting admission to the two main north west hospitals this morning.

According to the INMO, there were 40 people waiting for a bed at Letterkenny University Hospital while a further 36 were waiting at Sligo.

Nationally, there were 457 people waiting at hospitals across the country today, with University Hospital Limerick the worst overcrowded, 83 people waiting there.
