There are 76 patients waiting on trolleys in the North West's two main hospitals this morning.
According to the INMO's latest Trolley Watch figures, there are 45 people waiting for a bed in Sligo University Hospital, making it the third most overcrowded hospital in the country this morning. Currently, there are 31 people waiting in Letterkenny.
There is a significant increase in the amount of people on trolleys, with numbers rising by 27 across the region.
Nationwide, there are 489 people on trolleys in hospitals around the country, with University Hospital Limerick the most overcrowded, with 65 people waiting for a bed.
