76 people waiting on Hospital Beds in the North West

Letterkenny and Sligo University Hospitals are among the top four most overcrowded in the Country today.

The two main Hospitals in the North West have a combined figure of 76 people waiting on a hospital bed according to the latest INMO Trolley Watch Figures.

There are currently 39 people waiting on a bed in Letterkenny with 37 Sligo the numbers waiting in the respective emergency departments are 12 in Letterkenny and 25 in Sligo.

The most overcrowded Hospitals in the Country today are University Hospital Limerick and Cork University Hospitals.

Nationally the number of people waiting on a bed stands at 554.
