81 people waiting on hospital beds in North West

There were a total of 81 people awaiting admission to the two main North West hospitals this morning, an increase of 11 on Monday.

27 people were waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further 54 people were waiting at Letterkenny.

Nationally, there were 634 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.

The highest figure today is at University Hospital Limerick where there are 93 people waiting there.
