90 people waiting on hospital beds in the north west

There are 90 people waiting for beds at the North West’s two main hospitals this morning.

According to data published by the INMO there are 37 people waiting at Sligo University Hospital figure while the number at Letterkenny University stands at 53, the second highest in the country behind Limerick University where there are 88 people waiting.

There are 23 people currently waiting at the respective emergency departments in Letterkenny and Sligo.

Nationally the number of people across the Country stands at 533.
