A Sligo Sinn Fein Councillor says he's never witnessed bullying within the party.
Chris McManus's comments come amid a spate of resignations from Sinn Féin recently, with allegations of bullying - the most recent resignation was a Galway Councillor over the weekend.
Deputy Leader Mary-Lou McDonald says she will address these issues.
Party leader Gerry Adams is likely to face questions on the issue when he arrives in Sligo for a public meeting later this week.
Councillor McManus says while he can see how issues could arise he has never witnessed any bullying:
