A senior civil servant has said there's "absolutely no truth" to the conspiracy theories that 5G masts are causing COVID-19.
There was a suspected arson attack on a mast in Letterkenny at the weekend which is believed to be linked to online fake news.
Some celebrities including Woody Harrelson have spread conspiracy theories about a link between 5G and Coronavirus.
But assistant secretary at the Department of the Taoiseach Liz Canavan says there's no basis to it:
