Additional cases of Covid-19 recorded in the north west

The Department of Health has confirmed that there have been 10 additional deaths from Covid-19.

Of those deaths reported 4 occurred in April, 5 occurred March and 1 in February.

An additional 426 new cases of the virus were also reported in the latest set of figures.

Fewer than 5 cases were registered in both Sligo and Leitrim.  There were 39 cases recorded in Donegal.

The rollout of the vaccination process continued yesterday, 998,134 people have received their first dose. 399,927 people have received their second dose.
