Almost 30 people awaiting admission to North West hospitals

There were almost 30 people awaiting admission to the two main North West hospitals this morning.

23 were waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further six were waiting at Letterkenny.

Limerick University Hospital was the most overcrowded in Ireland with 102 people waiting there.

Nationally, there were 462 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
