Almost 50 people waiting for a bed at North West hospitals

There were almost 50 people waiting for a bed at the two main north west hospitals this morning.

35 people were waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital while a further 13 were waiting at Sligo.

Nationally, there were 501 people waiting at hospitals across the country today with Cork University Hospital the most overcrowded  - 57 people waiting there.
