Almost 60 people awaiting admission to North West hospitals

There were almost 60 people awaiting admission to the two main North West hospitals this morning.

36 people were waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further 23 were waiting at Letterkenny.

Nationally there were 449 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.

University Hospital Limerick returned the highest figure with 70 people waiting there.
